Nicholas Academic Centers' Students Learn the Science of Food at the Chapman Visiting Scholar Series

In her second Visiting Scholars Series appearance at the Nicholas Academic Centers, Dr. Anuradha Prakash, Program Director of the Food Science program at Chapman University, discussed with NAC students the chemistry behind the food we eat, revealed how fat and protein molecules interact to turn milk into ice cream, examined how taste buds work, and shared how taste and smell help us determine what to eat.
